Our Story

At Black Kidstory, we're a family—one mom and two daughters—who believe in the power of education and the importance of change. As regular people, just like you, we saw a gap in how Black history is taught to children, and we decided to do something about it.

With nearly 40 years of experience in elementary education, our mom has carefully designed each of our boxes to provide meaningful, age-appropriate learning that will resonate with your child. You can trust that our boxes are crafted with love, insight, and expertise to inspire curiosity and foster a deeper understanding of Black history.

In a time when conversations about race can be difficult and divisive, we feel it's more important than ever to introduce children to the incredible African American heroes who helped shape our nation. By sharing these stories, we hope to build bridges and create a more inclusive future—one that celebrates the richness of our collective history.
